AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION
This award seeks to recognise significant contribution made by alumni to Indonesian education. Through their work, this individual will have demonstrated leadership, initiative and commitment to education delivery, curriculum development, teaching and pedagogy, school and university management, innovative policy initiatives and reform. This includes those formally employed in the education sector as teachers, lecturers, rectors, department officers and policy makers, as well as those working in the non-government sector or in a voluntary capacity.
AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD FOR RESEARCH AND INNOVATION
This award seeks to recognise significant achievement in any field of research and innovation which contributes to current knowledge. This includes all areas of current scientific research and can include contributions to technological advancements we enjoy today.
AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
This award seeks to recognise an individual whose actions have contributed to the development of a prosperous, democratic and safe Indonesia. This can include the work of an individual in a professional or volunteer capacity that contributes to sustainable growth and economic management; democracy, justice and good governance; basic services and/or humanitarian work.
AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD FOR CULTURE AND ARTS
This award seeks to recognise outstanding talent, originality and cultural flair in the fields of fine arts, theatrical arts, dance, music, drama, literature, editing, publishing and curatorship.
AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARDS FOR JOURNALISM AND MEDIA
This award seeks to recognise outstanding achievements in journalism and media, demonstrated through devotion to informing the public on important issues and embracing highest ethical and professional standards.
AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN DEFENCE AND SECURITY
This award acknowledges the importance of the defence and security sector to Indonesia’s political, economic and social well-being. Through their work, individuals or teams might have provided assistance to communities affected by natural disasters; contributed to regional and global security initiatives; been deployed as United Nation’s peacekeepers; or developed new management structures or legislative reforms.
AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This award seeks to recognise innovative and entrepreneurial business people in Indonesia. This can include new or well established business people who have achieved success in their specific field of work, in any profession.
AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD FOR BUSINESS LEADERSHIP
This award seeks to recognise business leadership and a commitment to responsible business practices that has brought about positive change in the work place, as well as provided inspiration to others. This award recognises young, emerging and current leaders.
OUTSTANDING YOUNG AUSTRALIAN ALUMNI AWARD
This award seeks to recognise outstanding talent, achievement and/or contribution made by alumni in their chosen field that demonstrates integrity, initiative and innovation. This award is open to alumni who are under 30 years of age (at the time of nomination) and open to alumni in all fields of employment, community service and voluntary work.
