In end of November 2008, the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), in collaboration with the Australian Education International (AEI) Indonesia, held the UTS:Alumni Indonesian Reception Dinner in Jakarta. The event was an official welcome for new students commencing studies at the UTS in 2009 and a chance for graduates of UTS to reunite and network. The event was also attended by Professor Archie Johnston (The UTS' Dean of Faculty of Engineering & IT), and AEI Indonesia representatives.
