Dian Krishna was the host of Metro TV’s daily program, Sport Corner. Prior to this role as host, Dian had anchored Bahasa Indonesia and English news programs including Metro Malam, Mosaic Indonesia and Newsflash.
Dian began her career as a research supervisor at Prompt Marketing Research. In 2001, she became a presenter of Sportivo program in Indonesia’s Trans TV. In 2003, she joined Metro TV as a programming supervisor, before moving to the public relations division in 2004 and then becoming a news anchor in January 2005.
Born in Jakarta, Dian Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Lewis & ClarkCollege in the United States, majoring in psychology and communications. Her passion in communication brought her to Australia to deepen her knowledge in mass communication at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) where she obtained Master of Arts.
In 2003, Dian was crowned “Miss Indonesia” and became actively involved in community activities as the Anti Drug Ambassador. She continues to work with the Miss Indonesia Foundation and is passionate about contributing to local and international communities through her media career. Dian has made plans to extend her journalism career to Hong Kong and Asia Pacific region.
